NEFERTITI

NEFERTITI project focuses on utilizing artificial photosynthesis technology to convert carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) into synthesis gas and subsequently into higher alcohols such as ethanol (C2H5OH) or isopropanol (C3H8O) through two-step catalytic reactions. We prioritize using solar energy instead of fossil fuels to drive the catalytic reactions. We are researching promising technologies for the first continuous operation of the entire system in the project, where dye-sensitized solar cells and solar concentration systems are used to provide the energy mentioned above.
